If you're headed to Laguna Beach, you must must must walk on Main Beach, the heart of Laguna. You will experience the widest ocean views, walk the boardwalk, playground for kids and cheers from the public basketball courts. Cross the street to Forest Ave. for...More

Laguna Beach is a true Southern California Art scene! The 'beautiful people' go there to see and be seen, but also a gathering place for the younger set as well. Nice beach with great atmosphere~ lots of eateries, but all very pricey! Many art museums.

I always make it a point to visit Laguna Beach anytime I am in the area on business. There is a long boardwalk with plenty of benches to use to relax and people watch or watch the waves. There are volleyball nets and basketball courts...More

One of the nicest walking, people watching beaches in the world, Laguna Main Beach offers an amazing opportunity to spend hours. Relatively convenient parking and plenty of great food options, makes Laguna a very nice respite.

Center of town on Highway 1. Restaurants, shops and cafes surround the beach. Plenty of sand, unfortunately full of a wide variety of people. Parking can be a pain. Still, a great place to linger on a drive along the California Coast.

Main beach is so iconic and while it is very busy it still is worth the visit. Enjoy an extended walk to Heisler park with its fantastic views of main beach and the city beyond.

The beaches are really all connected so this is like an extension off Heisler Park. Sunsets are better closer to Heisler and Main Beach had a lot of panhandlers, people playing basketball and beach volleyball and had a less upscale feel.

Lots of people here at all times. From volleyball to swimming to surfing to a million other activities. More of a place to "see and be seen" than a place to relax. Close to restaurants but not much parking in the vicinity.

September is often the warmest month of the year. It will be amazing. Make sure your resort has air conditioning as a few of the older ones do not. If you are ocean front you wont need it with the breeze.
