Real nice course

But was too hot. Not used to this much hot weather anymore. Played only 9 holes due to heat and it was middle of the day. Overall... Really enjoyed.

I LOVE the layout of this course. The front nine is fun, if not a little tight when it comes to the closeness of the holes. The back nine is beautiful and spectacular. It is a fun course to play. Very typical Pete Dye with a ton of railroad ties. So...why only 3 stars? It is in horrible condition and... More

We brought a group of 8 buddies down from Canada to do some golfing. We chose the La Quinta Mountain Course as it had real nice course reviews. We booked two foursomes through "Golf Now" and had no issues with booking. When we arrived at the course to check in (after spending numerous dollars in the pro shop) we were... More

Loved this facility, from the moment I walked in. Professional staff throughout, and tee to green for 18 holes. Course was in great shape, very scenic, and very challenging. Can't say enough great things about this course.

I've never played golf west of the Mississippi, and I've never visited the Palm Springs area. My wife and I decided to visit the area for a conference in the midst of the most terrible winter at home in memory. A friend suggested the mountain course, and I'm glad he did. It is unreal and totally worth whatever greens fee... More

The mountain right around the golf course and the view was just splendid. I like the golf course as well but the grass on the rough was all burnt. Worth playing (especially for the view)

I played at 8 a.m. on a Friday. Every tee time was taken on the dunes and mountain courses, but the starter and marshal moved things along. The course was in fantastic shape and the views from the course were outstanding. Even though it was very crowded, everyone from the desk checkin to the cart crew made the experience enjoyable.... Having played this course numerous times over the past few years and enjoyed it immensely, I took a group of friends to play there in February 2015. The green fee ($140) was excessive given the condition of the course, no GPS on the golf carts, unfriendly staff, and poor condition of the driving range.

Best golf course in La Quinta for views and service. Some holes are free from luxury homes-just you and nature. The whole experience was a pleasure-the pro shop check in to drinks in clubhouse afterwards (beautiful view as well) made the afternoon the highlight of our trip.

I've played a lot of golf in the Desert and this course is still one of the most visually awe inspiring courses. From the driving range - where you literally hit into the mountain to the view of almost every single hole. The one down side is the 18th. You literally go through the most incredible 17 holes of golf... More
