Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial is a very special place. Although solemn in concept, the view is gorgeous. My friends and I often hike to the peak and spend a few moments of gratitude to those that served our country. We will often read the...More

There are tons of good views in the area but when we finally crested and saw the view to be had at the top, we both said, "Wow!". It's really spectacle and you can see forever in many directions. We really enjoyed it, but didn't...More

Was amazed and a little taken back by no lighting of the cross at night and especially on Veterans Day. A string of 75 watt LED bulbs on both sides would do the job as both airplanes on departure and traffic on I-5 woud have...More

Great bike ride from Downtown La Jolla, some steep sections but well worth the effort with the beautiful far reaching views of San Diego and La Jolla.

The slope up is pretty gentle and yes, it is accessible from all 360 degrees, however there are stairs to get to the foot of the cross itself. You wont be disappointed tho, its breathtaking
