My average rating is a combo - I give it an excellent for the nice employees, convenient location and amenities (changing rooms/bathrooms). I give it a poor for the crappy bikes we tortured ourselves on for about 4 hours. (I see another review similar to...More

Had an awesome time with Robbie & Barney to the caves. Went with 3 teenagers who thoroughly enjoyed their time on the water. Robbie & Barney are both very knowledgeable about La Jolla and the caves. We saw sea lions, a shark, dolphins, and some...More

My girlfriend and I took the kayak and snorkeling tour. Our guide was Jeremy and he was funny and knowledgeable. The water was clear with 10 feet of visibility. Snorkeling around the reef looked like a BBC documentary, with fish all around. We were about...More

My daughter (15) and I had a great time kayaking with Jeremy and Trevor. We'd never kayaked before and both our guides gave good clear instructions. We had a great time and would do it again.

Two of my adult kids did this and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Easy online booking with friendly staff for checking and suiting up with shorties. Good beach side instruction and narration around the cove. Highly recommended to do!

Exactly as the other reviewer stated. Not in the same kayak but he/she will guide you. No need to worry - they will not leave you and it's a very "beginners" pace. Biggest concern will be trying not to hit the cold water. ;)
