This place is a very small place where you are able to see and smell of the onsen. There nothing much to do there though but is an interesting place for people who never been to the onsen before.

An interesting park. It is located at the end of shopping street and at the start of the road leading to Hell’s Valley. The park is characterized by colorful inverted clubs and a boy (i think) statue holding a towel in one hand and the...More

It's a small park on the way down from 地獄谷 parking lot. You would see two demon statues and a small temple before the park. There are symbols and colors (9 of them) around the park. The hot spring source is located underneath the bridge....More

The geyser is located under the road. Sometimes you just see smoke from the park but can't be able to the geyser clear enough. Interesting but I don't suggest tourists visit here on purpose just for the geysen.

A geyser hidden below the road. Very near to Hell Valley & the surrounding hotels. A small park dedicated to the demons & the geyser. It is an active one that blows every 3 hours. I manage to catch it 3 times during my visit....More

We visited around 635am in the morning on 29 May 2017, and were lucky enough to witness the full burst! Strongly recommended as it is conveniently located near the hotel area eg 400m from Noboribetsu Grand Hotel.

It's a small spot in the town along the way to see the hell valley. So you may stop by and spend a few minutes there. The site itself is not that impressive by the way.

Spend some time to observe and listen to the loud thuds made by gesyers. A good stop on your way to the Hell Valley. This is right in front of Dai-Ichi Hotel.

We managed to catch the geyser in our morning walk. Sengen Park is a cemented park with status and the geyser is sort of hidden on one corner which you would have missed if not for the rumbling sound.

We walked by this park several times and had read the sign saying that message he spring was active every three hours. It wasn't until the last time we walked by that we saw the geyser really active. Pretty cool!
