The view and vineyards at Kenwood are beautiful. The winery sits well off the highway down a road with vineyards on either side The tasting room in in an old barn and is kinda dark for wine tasting. Expect to be hit with a pricey tasting menu and very expensive wines. The wines are good but not great. The showcase... More

Kenwood Vineyards Winery is easy to find, and lots of parking. A bit confusing which is the "front door" to enter -- look for the Kenwood sign and the big brown barnlike doors. Fabulous wines await inside!! Great host at the tasting bar -- we ended up tasting a number of new wines. Highly recommend a stop if you are... More

Most wineries in this area serve decent wines, are on beautiful grounds and charge money to taste. The more one pays, the better the wines are, although you may not be able to buy them. The experience also depends on who is serving the wine. Kenwood is no different. We had a friendly fellow serving us, the wines we liked... More

When visiting Sonoma and Napa you are overwhelmed with choices for your wine tasting but a visit to Kenwood is a great choice. The ambience of their tasting room is un rushed and low key. You can enjoy the wines without feeling pressured to move on as in other vineyards. Stop and enjoy the wine, after all isn't that why... More

This was our first stop on our first day of wine-tasting in the Sonoma Valley. It was a pretty good way to begin. The tasting room is big and spacious and attractively decorated. The staff person who was serving us was very accommodating. He took time to explain the wines and talk about the winery. He was friendly and interested... More

Fun place to visit. Hiking, beautiful scenery, and very good wine. This is the old estate of the author Jack London. Worth the stop.

In my opinion, all of the wines are well above average, and worth more than one visit. Good information is given about each wine and there are a couple of tasting options. We did a side-by-side of both tastings to get the full experience. Take come crackers and dark chocolate to enhance the wine tasting experience.

I had the chance to visit this the winery last week and it was great. I've seen their wines at stores often, but I never really tried them, big mistake. Not only do they make fantastic wines, they are also affordable! I'm actually writing this while drinking their 6 Ridge Chardonnay, lol. Cheers, CB
