Convenient location in easy walking distance of Main Street shopping and restaurants. Who knew there was so much history in the area.

The Historical Society offers a scavenger hunt around the town that you turn in once completed for a chance to win $50! The scavenger hunt is fun, informative, and dog friendly!! I would absolutely reccommend that first time visitors visit the Historical Society and go on the hunt!

Meander through the town, the building, museums and shops in Fall. Great experience for a hour or two of small town history and culture. Very unique, loved the shops and restaurants. Easy to find parking throughout the town on a busy Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed a piece of delicious Apple Pie and bought unique jewelry from the little stores. It was... More

Pick up a walking tour map at the chamber of commerce. Then follow the points on the map. The whole thing takes less than an hour. It's a little hokey and may not entertain kids much, but it's a nice activity. You can visit the cemetary up on the hill.... it's not that well cared for but there is a... More

I discovered the historic buildings of Julian on a trip when we didn't have time to stop, so the next time through we allowed extra time. The Julian Historical Society is headquartered in an old school building on a hill top. This building has lots of historic photos and a few exhibits. A few steps away is the Grosskopf House....
