From the pier the whole of Huntington Beach can be seen on a clear day. From the surfers below to the people fishing, the pier provides an excellent vantage point. And...if you are feeling indulgent, have a shake from Ruby's at the end of the...More

This beach has plenty of sand and lots of area to lay around, or swim, play volleyball, and enjoy. It is also close to shops and food.

We are here just prior to the big surfing event so temporary construction is going on for it right now. Pier area is always full of people walking, fishing, and performing so lots of culture. Views are always great from all angles. Lots of shops...More

Be prepared for a long walk, be entertained by the many fishermen and the little boutique shops along the way. Bring a sweater or wind jacket, no matter what the day time temp is, the night temp is colder and windy.

This is an excellent beach. There are currently extensive improvements being carried out on the left hand side of the pier as you face out to sea. Ruby's diner at the end of the pier is an excellent choice for good food at any time...More

Been going to Huntington Beach for 57 years. Love the beaches. Dining is always good but we go there to drink and dance to the bands that play throughout Main Street. Our favorite vacation spot.

It is a great place for enjoying the scenery, watch surfers or just take a nice stroll. At the end is Ruby's Diner which is good American food if you get hungry.

We live a mere one and half miles away from the pier and tend to walk over often. As Huntington Beach has become a tourist attraction, the pier gets the bulk of the traffic. Of course the main attraction is Ruby's. A great place to...More

The dog beach is located at the intersection of Goldenwest St. and Pacific Coast Hwy. It's one mile north of the pier. All dogs are welcome so be mindful of non-social dogs.

From the pier you need tackle , pole, cooler, ice, bait.. Deep sea charters have all that and go out miles for best fishing If you have the money, go deep sea. Mikw
