Scam. No showers, ice bath was not available. It was super crowded, no place to sit in sauna and no chance to relax. We chose not to use that sauna and they promised us to give the money back in the next days, but they didn't. After calling them they offered us a voucher and no refund. Since we were in Finland for holidays, we can't even use it. Scammers.

Horrible sauna experience. The saunas do not have showers, it is super crowded and ice bathing was not working. Since ice bathing was not working and we didn't use the facility, we were promised a refund but they also ignored us afterwards regarding it. Never again, never recommended

Went to the sauna for the public session and we were told that the ice swimming would not be aveilable because the ladder into the ice hole was broken. The whole experience felt flat and lacking. Very dissapointing, the sauna itself was nice. The discription of the sauna should mention that the only showers are inside the sauna, so during the public session there is no way to properly wash after the sauna.

Our family visit to Tonttula Elves Village was a heartwarming and enchanting experience, especially for our 7-year-old daughter. Upon arrival, we faced a brief moment of confusion as there was no one immediately available to assist us. However, this minor hiccup was resolved when we discovered that the check-in was located inside the restaurant's bar area.

After receiving our map we ventured into the Elves Village, where were greeted by the delightful ambiance of beautiful snow scenery, lights and Christmas music. We visited the wise old elves' house and the gingerbread house, among other attractions. Each setting was truly atmospheric, exuding charm and wonder that captivated our imaginations. The elves, were fantastic in their kindness and helpfulness, which added to the village's magical experience.

The highlight of our visit howveer, was the visit to Santa. Prior to entering the village, I had the opportunity to hand a homemade certificate to one of Santa's elves, intended for our daughter. The elf was not only accommodating but also ensured that Santa and his team were well-prepared for a special greeting. The look of sheer astonishment and joy on our daughter's face when Santa called her by name was priceless. The interaction between Santa and our daughter was heartfelt and engaging, leaving her at times utterly speechless.

Tonttula Elves Village provided a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was as amazing for our daughter as it was for us. The personal touches, the festive environment, and the spirit of the season came together to create memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you to everyone!!

Really disappointed and not worth the £££££!
We didn’t even get a gift from Santa for that price and he didn’t even ask the childrens names!
Was poorly organised, no clear reception area so we didn’t even know we had a booked slot for Santa. No one checks your booking so you could theoretically just turn up and do all the activities without question. Expected elves to be walking about and waving/talking to the children but they weren’t. Really disappointed, I would go elsewhere

We had a great experience! From playing football with an oversized football, to sledding and baking gingerbread cookies, the Elves Village had everything. It is set in stunning surroundings and is beautiful by day and by night. The view over the frozen lake is breathtaking.
Five adults and one child made the trip and we would all definitely recommend it.
We had soup in the restaurant which was as delicious.
The Elves (staff) we’re all very friendly.
I would highly recommend this if you’re in Levi

We absolutely loved this, we went with inghams but it's such a large place we still felt it was really special despite going on a coach. The whole place is magical, the little huts and houses, the lighting, the lovely activities with the children - all just perfect. The father Christmas was brilliant, he noticed my daughter had hurt her head and got her very close and waved a healing hand over her plaster -worked miracles! The only slight weak point was the female elf in the santa room with us, she didn't offer to take our photo together so only got one of just the children and she was very frowny and sombre, but maybe that's to stop you hogging all of Santa's time!

Put on your warm clothes and dive into a delightful experience even as a grownup.
The park is quite big with attractions that will catch your eyes at every corner and have a warm up break at the restaurant.
Would recommend to check the schedule before planning your visit as there are activities at certain hours.

Very nice place with nice things to see. I think it would be better in the Spring as we got there during the winter and it was very cold (-27 C). Also, additional things and activities would be good for the elves workshops as we had a single experience on each workshop. Definitely recommended.

Visited with three kids of 9, 6 and 5.

This place is a Gem, although a few minor points have prevented a 5 star review.

Firstly the place is beautiful, and is a nice size to explore - big enough to have an adventure but not too big. Unfortunately it was -34 degrees when we were there!!! So we had to keep finding indoors spaces to get into, but this didn't detract from our experience.

There are a few animals to see. I guess like a small petting zoo. Reindeer, huskies, horses and sheep. Then past that a few other buildings that are on the map that I was sort of expecting to be able to 'pop inside' like the Elf's cabin and the Aurora Pyramids, but unable to. Only later did I find out that these are part of the accommodation and not for 'visiting'. I think this should maybe be marked on the map so people are aware. At -34 it's a long way to walk with a 5 year old to find out it's a little bit of a dead end!

The wooded areas with their little quirks are fantastic, and especially beautiful in the snow. I would suggest to go at a time that you can experience it in both the light and the dark, because the place is well lit and it gets really magical when the lights come on. The Seita stone was a real treat - we went in expecting the least, and had to drag out kids out half an hour later once they discovered there was an indoor slide in there! And it was a nice warm break from the elements in there too.

Gingerbread baking was good, and the gingerbread delicious (I'm not a massive fan of gingerbread but these cookies are awesome especially warm).
The Elf school was ok I guess where they made little egg faces with little hats on, to take away.
The Wise Old Elf was a lovely welcoming lady who made paper snowflakes with the kids and we had the pleasure of being in there without any other tourists so it was a really nice experience.

There's also an outdoor play area which we missed purely as it was so cold and needed to keep moving, but it looked good. The real treat was a snowy/icy hill with sledges and ringos, which all five of us spent a long time sliding down and climbing back up. Much better than the sledging slope at kids world in Levi! Even at the temperature we experienced, that was one way to get your body heat up. Lots of videos taken.

Drawbacks:
- We were there with a huge group of package tourists. I understand that this is unavoidable, but at times it felt overbearing especially as a lot of them were very rude when it came to queuing and stuff. The difference between when it was quiet and when it was heaving was the difference between magical and frustrating. Can't really do anything about this to be honest, so it's probably harsh as a criticism, but try and time it so you are there towards the middle of the day (say 1ish) so you are 'between groups'. That way you'll get the middle bit of quiet where it's getting dark.
- Map could be better worded so that you don't drag young kids out to areas that there is no need to go to.
- There was nobody there to 'meet' us as such and we had to go searching for the person who could tell us what to do and where to go. A better introduction system wouldn't go amiss. If you get stuck behind a huge busload of tourists, this would be even harder.
- I understand that there are two pricing systems: one where you take part in all of the gingerbread baking, Wise Old Elf and Elf School, and one where you just do a self tour and don't take part. Difference of 10 Euros per person. For 5 people that's a decent amount. As far as I could see, I could have simply walked into all three of these without having paid, which is frustrating as you're constantly looking at people wondering if they've paid or not. There is no checking procedure. Going further, I actually think that I could have parked up, not even gone into the main office and simply walked round and taken part for free!

Anyway, don't let these drawbacks put you off, this is a fantastic place and you'll love it especially if you have small kids.
