Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Openly - it was average. We went to the proper Snow Village later - much better. I do think that Finland needs to up its game here. 10 years ago this would have been amazing - now, with the Harbin festival in China - it is mediocre. Come on Finland - you can do better than this

We weren't sure if we were going to see an ice gallery or an ice hotel. After visiting it, we still aren't sure. The place consists of a dinning room, a bar and a chapel. All deserted and empty. Not a working bar or diner. And than there are about 10 rooms. The ice carving is beautiful, but some potential got lost on the way. It is not a working hotel, no sanitation etc., so why not make the place more as a gallery. We were told a visit would take about 1,5 h, but we were through in about 30 minutes. There is a warm cafeteria next to it.
