This is my third visit to the Elmvale Zoo and this time took family members from both sides of the spectrum: 10 year old niece and my 80 year old father. Grounds were tidy and paths were like a conservation area in some places (very...More

A wide variety of animals that you can see up close. You can buy feed to let the kids experience feeding certain varieties of animals. The petting cage of goats is a huge hit.

An enjoyable experience with "wild" animals in captivity! Our Grandkids had fun watching these animals up close...the staff was very friendly. It's a family activity that is close to home!

Let’s clear the air to start with. I’m neither a veterinarian, nor a naturalist, but as far as I could tell, these are well-cared for animals in mostly very large and natural enclosures. I was very positively impressed. It was a beautifully clean, well-managed, well-maintained...More

They have very large enclosures. Especially the giraffes. We were not allowed to pet or handle any cubs. I do not believe this is a 'breeding zoo' but some of the animals do have babies.
