VML was another winery we had never heard of, but was recommended by a server at another winery. They recently lost the lease on their tasting room and are now sharing a space with Truett Hurst (and they share the same winemaker). I would say that VML is the more sophisticated of the two, and we liked the wines better,... More

VML has moved to 5610 Dry Creek Rd in Healdsburg, sharing a tasting room with Truett Hurst. The wines are the same good wines and the staff is just as friendly. The grounds here are very nice, take a walk down to the water.

A wonderful place to relax with friends. The wine is good and the garden is absolutely spectacular. I bought a bottle of Rose and Pinot Noir. It's nice to be able to wine taste during the week without the big crowds. If you are looking for a winery where you can have a glass and chat with friends and take... More

If you are a Russian River Pinot Noir lover, do yourself a favor and stop here for a tasting. Yum yum yum! Then grab your tasting glass and head outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens and patio. You'll be glad you did.

the chardonnay is the best for the money, the pinot noir is very good, and even the sauvignon blanc is good, which i usually don't like but this was good, the grounds are beautiful, unfortunately they are moving in january, but wherever they move they are worth tasting .

I enjoy their wines very much, both at the winery and at home. We frequently stop by to taste and enjoy sitting outside in the beautiful garden with wonderful large trees and a simply outstanding view across the Dry Creek Valley. As others have mentioned, they'll be moving. If you haven't been before, I'd say it's worth a stop to... More

We love coming to VML - especially when they have special events! Their staff are friendly and accommodating. The ground are lush and well maintained. Unfortunately, they will be moving soon, to the nice (but not VML) Truett-Hurst Location in January 2017. Very sad to leave their beautiful location. I hope that nothing else changes!!!

Great pinot and chardonnays! Absolutely gorgeous outdoor area with picnic tables--bring your own food and buy the wine there, or purchase one of their cheese plates. Sometimes they have a barbecue going for purchase. We love to visit each time we stay in Healdsburg.
