We were tasting along Dry Creek for a recent vacation. We weren't familiar with the Amista vineyards, but we were drawn in by the long driveway leading to the attractive building. Our pouring host was so friendly and personable. We tried several Zinfandels, a Cab, and a really nice port. The winery has a very friendly mascot. The focal point... More

Last winery of the day for us and dogs. Sometimes the last tasting is questionable. Your palate is shot from so many wines and purchases can be iffy at best, but the was no fluke or bad decision. We made a great decision to stop and we're lucky to come upon such lovely fun wines. After two days of tasting.....this... More

Beautifully kept farm building renovated into a large tasting room. Tasting Room staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Stills and sparkling are to die for. Must visit when in wine country.

This was our 25th year going to Sonoma Wineries. We love Sparkling wines and were members of Amista Vineyards for 2 years. We dropped the wine club, because the wines were not consistent and priced very high for the quality. . I had been reading before our recent visit about their sparkling red and decided to give them a second... More

We included a sparkling wine tasting mid-way through our day of wine tasting and it was a nice change of pace. Lovely grounds and we sat outside right next to the vineyard. Yummy bubbles and our host was extremely informative and friendly!

Went to Amista with a large group of people to try their sparkling wine. After making a reservation and a request to taste the sparkling wine (and being told it would not be an issue), we were all disappointed to learn that our tasting would not include a single sparkling. We were told sparkling tastings are for members only, that... More

We were lucky enough to stop here on our Wine country Journeys wine tour and had the tasting room all to ourselves. I am so embarrassed our forgot the name of our delightful and fun server. She even surprised us with a sign that was made welcoming us there while we were celebrating our birthdays. She made us and the... More

This place makes a great port and it pairs well with their chocolate. Very good combination they had, and the other wines were equally as good.

My great wife and I were unaware of Amista Vineyards when we planned to stop at another winery next door. But that winery wasn't participating in the special Winter Wineland weekend promotion, so she noticed Amista next door and they welcomed us. We are so glad we found them!! We had a wonderful wine tasting experience and even decided to... More
