For 20 years now, brothers Steve and Bruce Cousins have been producing some of the best wines in Sonoma County. We hand-craft vineyard designated wines from many of the top vineyards including Maple Vineyards Zinfandel and Maple Vineyards Tina's Block (perhaps Dry Creek's most coveted Zin Block), Durell Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Parmelee-Hill Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, Castelli Knight Ranch Pinot Noir, Gold Mine Ranch Zinfandel, and Bacigalupi Vineyard Pinot Noir. We also are very excited with our addition of Gap's Crown Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to our portfolio which will be released next year. From our seven-acre estate vineyard we produce Il Campo ("Field Blend"), a delicious combination of Zinfandel and Petite Syrah. While we make seriously great wine , we are not afraid to have a good time. That's why we produce PoiZin "The Wine to Die for" (Zinfandel) and the ANTIDOTE (Pinot Gris). Our Wine Club and Industry Wide Events are festive and like no others. Please come and try our incomparable wines while enjoying the enormous view of the Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. If so inclined, bring a lunch to enjoy on the large patio and a game of bocce ball . Come experience a welcoming and informal atmosphere in a beautiful location, with friendly, down-to- earth people and excellent wines. "Come Taste our World".

We been visiting Armida Winery off and on for years and we currently belong to their wine club. They often times have 'futures' barrel tasting available and their wines are all of high quality. The employees that typically work behind the counter are also always friendly and they will answer any questions without giving you that snotty and arrogant tone... More

Sit on the patio overlooking the valley and enjoy a bottle of wine and your packaged lunch. Play bocce on the court below the patio. Wines are OK...a bottle of Poizin (Zinfandel) at $25 is well worth it for the venue. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

The Zen Masters! Really amazing staff serving up some great Zins. We were the only ones there and they took us up to the barrel room and let us taste some futures. Pretty cool and something I am looking into for sure. I couldn't leave without a bottle of Poison in a casket box of course! I got the etched... More

We went for the area's barrel tasting weekend. After enjoying trying the futures with Brendan, the winemaker, at Armida on Sunday, we returned the next day to try their current bottled wines. The tiers of Poizin were okay but the zins were superb. Or favorites were the Maple Vineyard Zin and Tina's Block Zin. We also feel in love with... More

This is a special place. Tasting Room is a geodesic dome. Laura, our server was very personable and knowledgeable. The four of us found the wines as described and delicious. Especially the Pinot Noir and the Zinfandel. We even have a case coming, it is that good. Outside the views are very pleasant and quite scenic. This is a must... More

We took several people to this winery for my daughter's birthday. We had made a reservation, so they were expecting us. We had 2 Healdsburg hotel people with us as well as 2 event professionals from the area (a total of 15 people). We each paid a $10 tasting fee. Several people were interested in purchasing wine, so inquired as... More

I did not enjoy our visit to Armida. Staff was brusque, of the wines available to taste only one worked for me. Armida does not comp the tasting fee if you buy wine -- odd departure from what I believe to be a regional standard. Nice view of the valley as the sun moves toward sunset. Unlikely I'll go back... The winery is very pretty, nice sitting area overlooking the vineyards and nice tasting room. Thought the wines were just okay, nothing that wowed me. With so many wineries in the area, I would probably take a pass on this one.

This is a very interesting winery that is unlike anything you will find in the region. The theme is POIZIN , a play of Poison and Zin !... It works for younger crowds and those who are converts but we thought there was something very cheap and wrong about putting skull and bones on the wine bottle and storing the... More
