A winery in Abruzzo
Apr 2019 • Couples
I would recomend it only if you are a professional in the wine business. The place is visually pleasing as a well run place.

Zaccignini winery tour
May 2019 • Friends
We had a wonderful experience at Zaccignini’s. We did request a tour from their website in advance. We were shown the process of their wine making. Their facility is spotless and impeccably precise. Concenzio was very accommodating, knowledgeable and personable. Thank you Zaccagnini for being the highlight of our Italy Trip!!!!

Disappointing
May 2018 • Friends
Booked a wine tasting with friends, only to turn up and be met with a blank face at reception. Italian friend had booked so no excuse of any ‘misunderstanding’. Nice site but uninterested, unhelpful staff.
So, went to Valle Reale (Popoli) nstead. Staff at Valle Reale always welcoming and the wine and surroundings outstanding. Spent my money there. Won’t bother with over rated Zacagnini again.

Scenic surroundings and plural of wines!
May 2017 • Friends
What a site this is, bathed in mountains and hillslopes, a tribute to the flavors of wines from this winery! Taste one, taste two, taste three, taste four, taste as many you want because this folks really producing a lot of wine types. Remember to ask for a long sip of Elham Pinot Grigio(!) and Clematis(!). And if you are fan of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo do yourself a favor and buy some bottles of San Clemente Terre di Casauria. Come on!

Reborn and Ready for Tours!
Oct 2016 • Friends
The setting alone is enough to make the trip worthwhile: mountains rolling gently to the valley, strung with vineyards for making a variety of wines and wine products. This location was built with the intent to bring quality control in-house for improving the wines beyond "table wines". They've succeeded, and when you see that little twig on the bottle, you'll be happy to drink what's inside. Our tour guide could not have been more gracious when we arrived late, and we had a personal tour which ended in a tasting of any type we fancied. I myself am a huge fan of the Cerasuolo (blush, and smoother than many without being sweet), and of the Yamada Pecorino (a white which I'd compare to a well-buttered Chardonnay). You will want to stock up on the varieties not available in the markets: Yamada is one. They are well represented in Abruzzo's shops, and are available internationally, depending on your residence. A lovely day, impressive and lovely facility, a beautiful setting, welcoming and well-informed staff - a 10 if ever there is one.

Just two of us - a personal experience
Nov 2016 • Friends
Although only two of us, the lovely lady, Roberta, still did the tour albeit she said it would be a little shorter. It fact it was perfect. She spoke excellent English and answered all our questions and explained how the wine was made, about the artwork and so on. We tried some excellent wines. I would certainly recommend this attraction if you are in the area. Thank you, Grazie.

Winery with a difference
Apr 2016 • Couples
This winery employs local people, the lady who took us around spoke perfect English and took time to explain all the pieces of artwork, making this place something very special. Telling us about the process of the winemaking and answering questions she must get regularly with great patience. We were given plenty of time to take photographs inside and outside.
