Great waves to watch but not to swim in. Sand is clean and the sunsets are beautiful. Make sure you have your Dogs on a lease.

Serene, spectacular coastal setting. Rarely crowded. Wonderful tide pools and wide sandy stretches to walk on. Wildflower strewn cliffs and incredible sunsets.

So beautiful! So stunning....so close to SF and totally worth the drive. I wish that I had more time to explore more. Mt. Tam and Stinson are cool but this is equal!

Never too crowded. Go in the Spring or Fall for the best weather. My peaceful getaway spot. Relax and enjoy your surroundings.

We saw a tremendous 20 minute whale show 3 years ago on Mother's Day and then today we watched them spouting, floating, bobbing, and sticking up their heads & fins frequently for two hours.

Depends on when you want to visit. It gets sold out quickly around summer and also during the Pumpkin Festival. Other times your easy to get in whenever you want.
