Wonderful walk on paved section in any weather. Little known free parking at Ritz in it's parking structure. Look for coastal access signs and don't go up hill to front entrance valet parking. After parking walk up hill on left side of hotel. Walk south on paved section through golf course for outstanding coast views. Goes about 1 1/2 miles... More

The trail weaved through neighborhoods. Loved the beach access every now and then. And the constant surf was just delightful.

This trail is varied and is peppered with several beaches along the way, so you can take detours if you like. It extends from near the Mavericks south to and through the Ritz property, but don't let the pretentiousness of the place intimidate you.

We walked on this paved trail for a couple of miles, but it extends for a long way. It's wide enough to be easily used by walkers, runners, and bikers without any problems. There is constant presence of beautiful sand and ocean immediately to one's west: birds, dolphins, sometimes even whales. Great for exercise, relaxation and gorgeous views!

The Cowell-Purissima portion of the trail is a great 6-7 mile walk (round trip). We walk it every weekend when it's open. We tend to park one car in the Cowell parking lot and the other in the Purissima and go only one way with the kids. You can see so much wild life - seals, birds, whales. It's so... More

Hotel room was small with double beds. It was clean and had refrigerator, microwave, and large tv. We stayed 3 nights. Long walk to beach. A couple restaurants close to walk. Saturday night lots of sirens and highway was noisy. Air conditioning blew right on one person on bed, had to cover part of it with pillow. Affordable.

We stayed in a the Comfort Inn at Half Moon Bay and used this trail for our morning run each day. It's well-maintained and paved with wonderful views. We really enjoyed using it. There are also some informational signs about the landscape and wildlife you may see.

We stay at Pillar Point RV park and this is a beautiful trail to jog on. It runs coastside, through natural habitats, across creeks. Mostly level and straight and I feel safe.

This is a great trail for the middle of the road kind of hiker. It's not overly difficult but if you choose to scamper down one of the sides of the 'cliffs' (there are some areas that you can because they gradually get to the beach) it is a bit of a work out getting back up. The coastal views... More

We had a great trail ride to the very end of the trail at the point. the trail along the bluffs was spectacular and then moving down through the harbor area was very nice. We stopped for a bite and drink at one of the local places right along the ocean and this capped off a awesome experience. The trail... More
