A Kitschy place to stop on the way to/from Half Moon Bay

Crazy Big Dinosaurs made of rusting metal - great photo ops abound. You might even find a garden ornament you can't bear to leave behind!

We were on our way into the mountains when we ran across Spanish Town. We couldn't resist pulling over and wandering through the many fountains, statues, and plants. There was also a small antique shop open in the main building that was good for a few minutes of browsing. We took the obligatory pictures with the dinosaurs, and I had... More

Very interesting stop if you are on your way to Half Moon Bay. Stretch your legs among the extinct reptiles.

We stopped along highway 92 a few miles east of Half Moon Bay. The large metal sculptures caught our attention as did the nursery with many garden fountains and pots. Kids would love it.

Every time we go to Half Moon Bay we have to stop just to check out what's new. The metal sculptures are so creative. They capture one's imagination whether you are 8 old 80 years old. It is a must do when we go to Half Moon Bay!

Spanish Town is a few miles from downtown Half Moon Bay on the way over the hill on Highway 92. We were looking for succulents and stopped to see the big steel dinosaur sculptures. Which are a fun photo op. Great statuary and garden ornament shop. Worth the stop.

This use to be a great place with new and exciting items. However, this last visit, there were lots of broken items and nothing special that jumped out at me.
