Just happened across this place near Sonoma town square, as it was the only place open on New Year's Day! The owner was very friendly and knew her chocolate! We got to taste the different types of chocolate. I believe the 67% dark chocolate is what they use in the truffles. They have an incredible selection, including wine and champagne... More

We sampled some great chocolates. Ended up buying a 7 pack for fiancées daughter. Daughter chose to wolf them all down in 1 sitting. Must be very good!

Their tasting rooms have small tastings to different dark chocolates to calibrate your likes with their chocolates. They may also have special samples of some of their locally made chocolates. All tasted fantastic.

Stopped by to look and did end up buying several pieces of chocolate. Various sorts available, a bit pricey but most good chocolate is.

Believe it or not, you can get tired of wine tastings. When we hit the wall, we decide to stop at Wine Country Chocolates. What a great decision. The shop is small, the six of us filled the room. 3 samples where given of the types of chocolate with different percentages of sugar. A flavor of the day chocolate was... More

There are many types you can choose, and they are all delicious. It is definitely worth taking a trip to this store. My personal favorites are the Fleur de Sels, Champagne, and Cabernet truffles. They are all great though!

Definitely make a stop here! We did the chocolate tasting and bought a box of truffles, they are amazing!!! Love the cabernet, zinfandel and amaretto ones.

This tiny chocolate shop which is tucked out of sight in a small courtyard in Sonoma is well worth the visit, I'd drop the wine tasting any day if I had to choose between this chocolate shop and the wine - luckily for me I didn't have to choose! If I'd have known how fantastic they tasted I would have... More

We discovered the shop in Glen Ellen, which is a little gem! The chocolates were decadent and we bought several offerings. The lovely lady who helped us was Kay (I believe), and she gave us a lot of helpful information on the shop, its owners and the area in general. It was such a nice experience. The chocolates are delicious... More

First, the store is a small and cutesy hidden in one of those passages at Sonoma Plaza. We walk in as we were exploring the plaza. It had the "local chocolate shop" feel for sure. I really liked the display of Cocoa in its original form. I also like that there were samples for tasting and each indicated the percentage... More
