Smack dab in the middle of the Valley of the Moon, Jack London Park is a beautiful place to take in the scenery, take a walk, have a picnic, or all of the above. Truly captivating nature at it's best no matter the season. A great museum, really not kidding, makes it a Jack London lover's must see!

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Jack London State Park. The self guided tour of the grounds was a great value for a $10 cash entrance fee, and the house of happy walls provided the history of Jack London's fascinating life.

Well kept park with great story of Jack London. The docent at the cottage was knowledgeable and vivid. The cottage itself is very nicely kept. It felt as if we had come 120 years back in time.

This is a wonderful park. It's large enough to contain many different short and long walking trails among the gorgeous flora. The historical buildings such as the Wolf House are also quite interesting. The park service has done a good job of providing information around this house in particular which gives even this burned-out building a great sense of wonder.... More

We fell in love with this park years ago and keep going back. The history from the time of Jack's brief time there is amazing and the volunteers that staff and take care of the park are really special. Take time to walk or hike, and visit the park. Great!!

This is a gem of a place for very easy and relaxing hiking. On one side of the park the old home is preserved along with the ruins of the farm. On the other side the ruins of the burned out mansion, grave site and a great museum with all of Londons collections. Bring a picnic lunch and plenty of... More

We stumbled upon the entrance to Jack London State Park and it was the best wrong turn we ever made! It was a highlight of our travels. Our luck hit a new high when we met ALICE! She works at the park and she provided us with a guided tour. Her charm and knowledge made exploring the park an ease... More

For only $10 per vehicle you can go envision Jack London's dream of a perfect home. We only had an hour, so we visited the museum, the gravesite and remains of Jack's dream home. The museum contains the London's treasures brought back from their travels to exotic locales. The museum manages to give you a real sense of time and... More

Spent a morning at the park and was really surprised it had so much to offer. Just a pretty 15 minute drive from downtown Sonoma, there is excellent hiking here among the Sequoias and lots to see. Jack London bought this parcel of land and built all kinds of things here: a cozy house where you can see the bed... More

A wonderful place to visit in Glen Ellen! Jack London's Beauty Ranch is special. The walk to his Wolf House is a must to see the home Jack never lived in. The museum is fascinating with wonderful artifacts from his world travels. Come and explore a treasure.
