The train car was covered but open. Nice ride during the summer time especially when it is sunny. I took the ride from Sunol going to Fremont. In Fremont you can get off and go to boutique shops, antique shops.

This is a wonderful relaxing ride and you get to see sights you don't normally see when driving through the canyon! It's so amazing, I love it!

Really fun to ride on this vintage train and enjoy the scenery in beautiful Niles Canyon. The old train cars are reminiscent of the old west and the pace is slow so you can enjoy the ride.
