Beautiful sights! Nice slow drive, with lots of pull off spots to take pictures, or to dip your toes in the water.

If you are in Fort Bragg it is a great trail to hike along the shore. It is definitely not a reason to go to Fort Bragg.

We stayed in a hotel right on the Coastal Trail and rented bicycles to ride up and down. Gorgeous views, you don't ever want it to end. It takes you over an old Railroad Bridge and you just feel like part of the landscape here.

Walking along the coastal trail is the best thing you can do. Glass Beach, sea birds and lovely flowers to look at. Take a deep breath and enjoy the world!

We are so amazed how this coastal trail turned out. I believe if you walk or bike ride the entire length, it is about 14 miles. Easy free parking. Bring water and snacks and comfy walking shoes. Places to picnic and sit and take in...More

There is a bike shop on the main street- Highway 1. Coming from the north it will be on a corner on your right side, south-on the left side. There is a parking lot behind it at the next north west corner.

There two different locations of Glass Beach. One involves going down a steep hill to the beach and it is disappointing. Just north of that, there is a residential street with a gate that opens to take you to a flatter... More
