People should know that these glasses are created from glasses thrown to the sea and it has softened. However there arent much left unless u take a very close photo. We drove here from SFO and it took us good 4 hours to reach, the drive was awesome. one of my fav roadtrips in west coast. The beach is very... More

Certainly doesn't look like some pictures that I've seen. Very little glass pieces in dull colors. People have taken them all ;(

My husband and I planned our Valentines trip a week early, and we specifically came (from San Diego area) to see Glass Beach. It's beautiful, and even at high tide, there were some very interesting kelp, and other oceanic "creatures".....

Loved the scenery. Got there just after huge storm came through but still a sight to see. The beach was closed due to storms and conditions but the trails were awesome to walk along.

Heard all about the Glass Beach while walking around town. We went down to see it, found signs stating, "do not take the glass", but people were collecting it anyway. Not a whole lot of glass to be found to be honest. Cool story behind how it got there though. I've seen more beach glass on Florida beaches and up... More

Even with overcast it is a scenic area. There are so many places to stop and meditate and take a photo or two.it was my first visit but it won't be my last!

Loved walking to glass beach and taking many beautiful photos. Also like the story of how this glass beach was formed, for God to take trash and turn it into something beautiful.

Special get away with family and friends. Rain or shine. I'm so glad they cleaned it up and added more paths to walk. Making it easier to walk and take pictures.

How cool that a former garbage dump can turn into nature's treasures. The stairs had washed out but getting down to the beach was easy. LOTS of ground down colored glass, tide pools with little crabs, olive shells. Great time-spender.

I went to this beach after our recent storms. I was told there would be a ton of glass on the beach to look at and admire. But the stairs to the beach were wiped out during the January storms. They were being repaired. The nice thing about the beach, the city built a lovely walking/biking trail along the beach... More
