Such a great place, we took the self guided tour and the sake process is fascinating. The lady who served us in the tasting room was full of interesting information and answered all of our questions. She even recommended a great sushi place nearby for lunch. This is a fun and cheap activity to do. I recommend the sparkling sake,... More

Go early in the day to see the action like equipment and bottling operation. It is self-guided but workers will talk to you if you ask questions. The koi pond and gardens are relaxing. The tasting room is alway good and if you live in the area, you can sign up for sushi classes.

Sake factory. Small on outside but big company. Tasting Room with several tastings. Store to buy products on site. Cozy area to socialize.

You can walk through and see the sake process, then you get to taste sakes that are imported in the gift shop. No pressure to buy, a nice place to visit but also a quick visit, maybe 20-30 minutes.

Very interesting tour and tastings. Can't wait to go back. Koi ponds add to the beautiful building, too.

All sake made in the USA appears to be made on the West Coast so when I setup my agenda for my next vacation, I tried to hit any sake facility I could. Image my delight when I found Gekkeikan had a tour and a tasting room. After all my planning, I have to say that I was disappointed that... More
