I had my high school reunion at the Wooden Valley Winery and it is a fantastic casual location for any event. They kept the tasting room open and we were able to taste many varieties of wine and they offered special rates for purchase. The grounds are beautiful - you are surrounded by beautiful big trees and grapes all around.... More

This winery is in an area, which I have driven through many times, but newer stopped to explore. Surrounded by fields of grapevines, it really feels like wine country. Stepping from the hot, late afternoon sun, into the cool tasting room and expecting delicious wines, did set the mood. Since my wife and I are white and rose wine drinkers... More

Food truck Fridays at Wooden Valley are always a lot of fun. It is an event for Wounded Warriors. There are always various food trucks with good food. The music is always good as well as plenty of good wine.

I have been buying Wooden Valley wine for 25 years - I would buy six bottles a trip to get my favorite wine - White Zinfindel. It tastes very smooth. I have gone to Napa Valley to wine taste - I found it snobby - Wooden Valley treats you with class but the employees are "down to earth". The winery... More

First visit there yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and had a great wine tasting as well as bought some wine. They have a nice place to have a picnic lunch and have foods to buy there as well.

Visited the winery for the first time for a monthly summer event, food truck Friday. There were a ton of people but plenty of parking across the street and on the side of the road. No wine tasting during this event but you could buy by the glass or bottle. There is a great variety of wine from sweet Riesling... More

I'm usually out of town for my birthday, but because I wasn't this year my cousin wanted to take me for a weekend of wine tasting for my birthday. We checked in to a hotel in the Fairfield area because most hotels in the area were booked for a weekend concert. We searched for wineries to visit in the area... More
