You can walk on the beach, walk to the park or just sit and watch the ocean. The motel is right next to the lifeguard station, so perfect for families.

We walked the beach after lunch in Del Mar. Very busy on a Saturday, but great people watching. Glad we brought sweaters.

We visited for an afternoon while in San Diego. It's about a 30 min trip North. Very nice, clean beach. Too chilly in April but we hung out with the kids, walked the beach, people watched, and tossed the football around on their grassy area....More
