Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino...

Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino Mountains. But don’t let the pastoral setting fool you - the park teems with activity throughout the year as nature lovers converge for a wide range of recreational activities.People flock to Lake Gregory to enjoy its cool 84-acres of surface area for swimming and water sports. Each August, a 2,500-year-old Chinese tradition comes alive at Lake Gregory in the form of Dragon Boat Races. The elongated canoes seat 12 to 20 people, and a drummer beats a cadence to set a pace for the paddlers.Other activities include a fitness trail with exercise stations, picnic areas with barbecue grills, fishing, a skate park and model boat area. Four-legged friends are welcome at Lake Gregory’s dog park. The park lodge is available for events ranging from weddings to company parties.

Be careful to pay for parking or you will get towed.Otherwise, the lake is a nice getaway from the heat, traffic, etc. of the flatlands below. There are plenty of things in and out of the water to keep kids busy all day.

If you're just coming to enjoy some scenery and the park, then this is a nice stop. But there are others with the same drive time that are better if you're coming from a distance. The rentals seem overpriced.

its worth the drive to the beautiful mountain, check prices before you go, and be prepared to pay the heafty parking fee (IMHO) and do bring your own shade and snacks.

We visited with a large group and all felt that the water was weedy and the lack of a bathroom on the south side of the beach was a little weird since that is where people are swimming. My nephew was an inch shy of the line and was not allowed to swim in the area that had the cool... More

Family gathering! Eight year old to sixty four year old and everything in between. Too many "too" things. 1. Parking too much ($10.00) 2. Parking too far from water park (south beach) 3. Water Park too much ($25.00) 4. Restrooms too smelly. 5. Picnic area and beach too dirty. For a county park, way over priced. Spent $175 for water... More

We arrived just at opening time and it was not very crowded for the last weekend before school started. The 7 year old with us was tall enough for the water park but I'd say she would have enjoyed it more in a couple years. It was very hard for her to get up on the jump slides and then... More

This was our first trip here. Based on advice here, we parked on the south side because there were bathrooms. I guessed I missed that there is very little shade! Those in the know brought EZ Ups or some other shade. You can rent water equipment, but no beach chairs or shade! A nice lady at the payment booth took... More

The lake is calm and they have giant water structures to climb on and jump/slide off of. They also rent kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and small boats. There also is a fun water slide. They charge $10pp for beach access or $25pp to use the water park. Parking is $10 cash (put in envelope in slot so bring exact change).... More

The weather was gorgeous whilst we were there, and loved walking around the lake. Plenty of places to just lie on a blanket and relax, or have a picnic. Big play area for kids and adults alike, especially those into kayaking and boating.

Thank Sandy W
