Behind 611 Anton Blvd. in Costa Mesa is an utterly unexpected jewel, a 1.5 acre sculpture garden by Isamu Noguchi. The collection of sculptures is a representation of California using both symbolic and minimalist vocabularies. There are mountains, rivers, cacti. This land was used for...More

The garden is truly wonderful. It is peaceful, spacious, and well laid out. It is a simple garden, meant for contemplation. It is not one that offers up distractions, such as flowers. However, the bordering buildings have a (rightfully so) diligent security staff who will...More

We loved this work of art in Costa Mesa. It is a must see. We had a hard time finding it and had to ask a bicycle police officer for directions. It was well worth the walk from the mall where we parked. Such a...More
