You have to spend time here. At dusk. You have to watch the way the changing colors around the sky light intensify your perception of the sky, as it changes colors during dusk and sunset. It is beautiful.

My husband took me here at dusk to see how awesome it is. It is a little hidden gem in the colleges. Check it out when you are visiting the beautiful city of Claremont.

This skyspace allows one to contemplate the relationship between earth and the heaves above. A ever changing tableau is presented through the frame of the skyspace. Presented as only nature can.

This is an amazing work of art. The lighting and the inclusion of the sky as part of it create an optical illusion that can really throw you off.

Relaxing lights change color as the sun goes down. Sit on benches. Free. Located in the middle of Pomona College campus. Orchestrated by a Pomona College alum, James Turrell.
