And Do go to their Air Show! It's amazing! All the planes they restore fly, they do not just sit and collect dust!

Plane of Fame is known throughout the world as the place to visit if you want to not only see complete examples of historic WW2 and Jet Age aircraft, but nearly all of them are in flying condition. On any given day at the museum, it is a abuzz with activity of restoration, veteran seminars, corporate/public events, school field trips,... More

Plan to spend at least 3-4 hours because there is so much to see. Their Airshow is one of the best on the West Coast. A must see !!

Great collection of flyable World War Two aircraft. History comes alive here as the airplanes regularly fly. The collection includes the only flyable Japanese Zero with the original engine and a number of other very rare aircraft. A must visit for anyone marginally interested in aviation or history.

An excellent museum run by a great bunch of folks. Some rare and unique aircraft, many of which fly regularly. Their annual airshow is well worth the trip.

From their static displays to the restored flying planes, done by volunteers staff, the work done in detail are unsurpassed!! They have and fly the only Northrop Flying Wing and Japannese Mitzubishi Zero.

I've visited this museum several times, but it was 5 years since the last one, so I wanted to see what was new. The museum is always changing with airplanes coming and going and being restored and maintained. If you like to look at rare warbirds this is the place. You never know what you are going to run across.... More

If you are interested in airplanes this place is a MUST SEE! Unlike a simple collection of planes sitting on display, many of these planes actually FLY! The museum is well laid out, it's not expensive to visit (Groupon often offers discount coupons) and if you want to you, can spend days there watching people working on and/or restoring planes....
