Our family (myself, my husband, and our 2 sons--12 and 2 years old) just visited Folktale. It was incredible. The tour is a must. Our guide, Ellis, was fantastic and you could tell she really loved her job. She was very informative, and knew a...More
Could have sat here for hours....what an amazing way to spend an afternoon, soooo relaxing and such a fabulous way to taste wine. Customer service was the BEST!!! Took home six bottles of wine, a MUST stop if you are in the Carmel Valley
Hubby and I came here from a cruise excursion. There are many acres of land filled with grapevines and buildings. Everything is done on the property from planting the grapes to selling the wine. They have some beautiful rooms and gardens where they host many...More
We were welcomed to the wine patio with complimentary glasses of brut bubbles. When a gust of wind knocked one of our glasses over, breaking it, the servers couldn’t have been nicer about it.

No particular dress code that I can recall, was 'enforced'. We were quite casual, jeans/slacks & Tshirts. I saw visitors with shorts, couples with dogs, all in a casual relaxed environment, lounging on chairs outside, relaxing under the tree, etc. There were also visitors with pants and shirts, but not overly dressed, definitely did not see any one with jackets etc - there were no functions on that day!
