Just a once in a lifetime drive. Cost $10 but there is no better bargain in the world. The scenery, views, you will never experience again. And to realize people wake up to it everyday.. makes one so jealous.

This drive winds you along the coast through the 3 major golf resorts that are part of the Pebble Beach area. Many stop off points to look at including the lone elm tree that is over 250 years old - an iconic sight if you've ever watched a golf tournament held at Pebble Beach. Gorgeous views ofthe ocean and some... More

Although a bit touristy, and I'm sure quiet busy during the peak summer months, this drive is definitely worth the time and money. The views of the coast, golf courses, and beautiful homes are extraordinary. I wish I would have had more time to visit the golf clubhouses, or even play some golf, so definitely have to come back!

I was pretty surprised that a drive along the coastline would cost, but we paid our $10 and started on our way. There are about 10 stops for coastal scenery and a couple others for golf courses and whatnot, which we didn't stop for. The drive took a lot longer than expected because we stopped frequently to get out and... More

I try to always take this rode when we are in the area. This is scenery at its best. Don't hurry. 5 miles per hour is too fast.

We didn't pay Pebble Beach to drive through its properties, but the public portion is well worth the drive. Waves were crashing over the beach, gorgeous old houses line part of the drive. Definitely worth 20 minutes of your time.

This drive was very enjoyable and offered some of the best sights along the coast. Don't go without stopping a number of times at places like the Lone Cypress, Pebble Beach (walk down to see the 18th green), and Point Joe.

Beautiful drive with breath-taking beach. I especially like the Spanish Bay area, a scenic spot for picnic and relaxation. I do wish the drive is better marked because it was pretty confusing for something we were charged $10 for.

I love 17 Mile Drive and had the pleasure of renting a home just off of it. The road twist and turns and can easily confuse you. Don't be in a rush because deer are plentiful and can run out in front of you at any time. In fact, everybody in the car was always on deer watch. There is... More
