Stayed here for a family weekend around Monterrey and Carmel and played golf with my son both days. Had a great time. Rooms are not super fancy but clean, well furnished and nice with great grounds. Restaurant was fine, good food and there is also a decent local Mexican place right across the road. Golf course is a real gem... More

It's got a decent gym and a nice pool. The rooms are nice. But you can't really claim to be a resort without a restaurant. And the breakfast is terrible.

No advantage to stay and play package...you get to play for $100 vs $175, but the price of the room is jacked up so there is no benefit. You may as well book your room separately. That $100 is added to the "package" you think you are getting when you book the stay and play rate. I feel like it's... More

The fifth star only missing because the room was somewhat basic. Comfortable and quiet but basic. However, the entire experience was great. Weather was perfect. Staff was friendly and responsive. Nice gym, pool, and grounds. And the breakfast was great. Would definitely go back and we don't even play golf. For golfers it must be even better. Don't forget to... More

Finally got a chance to stay here - wish I had done it sooner. It's a beautiful, rustic hotel spread out around the golf course. The rooms are very well done with balconies/patios so you can enjoy the fresh air. Beds and pillows are perfect for a tired sleep. Open the doors at night and let the cool air in... More

Sunday night, they do not charge for corkage fee. The food is excellent and great selections. The outdoor seating is heavenly.

Fabulous relaxing, cozy romantic retreat. We loved the place and lake and the beautiful surroundings. We also loved that it was dog friendly and the Edgar's restaurant is delicious. It's close to Carmel but away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Such a great hideaway. I will definitely come back.
