safeway, cvs, bay bikes, from scratch for breakfast. Nice shopping commons area. It is a bit difficult to figure out where few places are--as they seem bit tucked in the back, but for breakfast and anything you may have forgot this is much more reasonable than anything in town. From scratch restaurant was good. first visit our waitress was bit... More

The barnyard is fun and the walk areas are very pretty. The nursery is fun and different. If you like fondue the swiss restaurant is the real deal and the food is great.

Lots of restaurant selections. Great home made candy store. Walking distance to the Mission Inn. A little confusing on the directory with several different buildings all connected.

Lots of little stores and boutiques, best part was the restaurants. Swiss, Asian, French, Irish. I would recommend a visit here, its worth the stop.

Where I live, in NJ, I don't come across shopping centers with this much beautiful foliage, flowers and quaint architecture. In every direction, there was something pretty to look at. I highly recommend a meal at Robata Grill and Sake Bar, where the service was impeccable, the Japanese garden setting lovely, and the shitake maki roll mouthwatering. I also recommend... More

I stayed very close to the Barnyard so we went with much higher hopes. The place was dead, none of the shops even worth noting, although the layout was very nice and quaint. The only reason I'm glad we came here was that I noticed some nice looking restaurants and we decided to eat at Namu, which was fantastic and... More

This shopping area has a large section only devoted to interior design companies , a grocery shopping area and a separate area for restaurants, little souvenir shops and bike rentals. All very pretty and relaxing.

There was a time when it was quaint. Now it's just another excuse to drop some money on the table. Parking is good. That's about it.

I ate at From scratch for breakfast & Namu for dinner.. both were very satisfying, there's others, but I was only in that area for 3 days. Some good choices there.

We were intrigued passing by this shopping area and made an effort to return the next day to explore. We were disappointed in the lack of shops, unless you are interested in consignment stores. We couldn't find a restaurant that interested us either, so we returned to downtown Carmel.
