While visiting Carlsbad, we drove into the village area, parked and looked for a place to eat. This place drew us in for a closer look with some great live music. The menu was really good. We ordered the fish tacos, lobster corn chowder and the ahi poke stack (amazing!). We were dining with two small kids after a long... More

We were wandering around downtown Carlsbad looking for a place to eat lunch outside, and this small bar definitely fit the bill. It's bar food mostly, but the ribs were delicious and well priced for the portion. And of course they had good brewskies.... I don't know how it would be at night, but mid-day, it was just a friendly... More

Had lunch here on a trip to Carlsbad. The good was very good and large portions. We had a lovely server who was friendly and professional. Our food came out in good and while waiting, they give you a bowl of chips & salsa. We ate inside because it was a cool afternoon but they had lots of outside seating... More

This is a nice place for anyone in the 20-50 year old range to take in some music and dance outside. Great vibe with a lot of regular locals and tourists mixing together.

We only stopped in for a beer, but the waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice but kind of noisy especially for it being Tuesday night. Not a good place to actually hold a conversation.

Didn't eat here but did stop by for cocktails and listened to the live music. The people watching was a hoot. The night we were there it was a Beatle's cover band....lots of dancing and singing along. And they're open pretty late unlike most things in the village.

Carlsbad never fails to deliver but this was a particularly good place. Terrific food, live music, great atmosphere, and on par service. Try the steak enchiladas!!

We were staying at Omni La Costa Resort and our shuttle driver recommended Carlsbad Village when we asked about dancing. We ventured down at night and cruised a few streets following bright lights and crowds. We happened upon Coyote Bar & Grill and decided to stay. Casual place but great dance music! The DJ played a variety of dance hits... More

Decent food, outside seating, brunch & mimosas. Close to the ocean and the coaster. Has live music and dancing at night.
