My wife and I had a last minute cancellation of a different tour, and fortunately Rainforest Adventures had room for us. It was an unforgettable experience for us both. Freddy was our guide throughout the day and he was excellent!!! You could feel his passion and enthusiasm for what he does, and he was so knowledgeable. His kindness and genuine... More

First time zip lining, and it was amazing. Bordering the Braulio Carrillo National Park, this private reserve and eco tourism spot has some of the best lookout posts and scenery I have ever seen in Costa Rica. My tour included 12 zip lines, some short ones over rivers and hills, some longer than 1000 ft. The last one is more... More

didn't see much. Lucy our guide, was very knowledgeable. Sat in a van for an hour to get there. Then sat in an aerial tram for an hour looking at mostly flora - trees, etc. We did see a toucan fly by in the distance. But other than that there wasn't much to see.

We booked a 6 in 1 adventure including a zip-lining experience for 4 people-at the "Atlantic Site". We were picked up at our hotel in San Jose and driven to the starting point of our adventure. Unfortunately in starting pouring rain and the trip was cancelled. I carefully watched the guide ( Fabiano ) and one of the supervisors or... More

Great facility and people. They fit us in when bad weather in Monteverde drove us to the warm area near Jaco. Very professional. Safety is their first emphasis, so the adventure part of it is not quite a strength. Do be careful to avoid days when they have cruise ship passengers on the lines en masse. We ended up having... The ziplining option is there, but we selected the gondola ride instead because one in our group was not the adventurous type. The gondola was serene and we became one with the rainforest! We had a fabulous tour guide that shared the secrets of the forest and we spotted wild animals in their natural habitat - including the sloth!!! It... More

This happened to be my first zip lining experience and I was nervous at first, given my fear of heights. But after the first go, I was all in! The type of gear used resulted in leaning back quite a bit which took away from being able to see the surroundings while you zipped, but you just took in the... More

I booked this tour reluctantly but when all was said and done I was glad I did. Manuel was an excellent guide and an outstanding naturalist, giving us indepth insight into the nature and fauna throughout the park. The Areal Tram was unique in being able to see the park from multiple levels, although we weren't able to spot any... More

We took this excursion from our HAL cruise to the Panama Canal with a stop in Limon. It's quite a drive 1 hour 45 minutes from port, nearly 2 hours back due to traffic. So we barely got back to the ship in time. The zip lines here are BEAUTIFUL! The scenery is intensely beautiful. Zipping over flora and fauna... More

Long drive from cruise ship. Everyone was pretty excited - some veteran zipliners, some virgins. A few people were so nervous that their legs were shaking (I had never seen that kind of terrified reaction to an attraction before). All of the terrified participants actually completed the full course. One young woman actually got her mojo on the first section... More
