Destonation worth your time

Great selection of craft beers. Outdoor seating is great for groups or just friends. I bring my kids in the summer so they can play on the lawn.

I have been coming to Jack Russel Brewery for years. I always end up here at the end of my Apple Hill trip to have a nice pint. They used to brew this Rasberry Stout which I loved but apparently, it is not very popular and they discontinued it. However, they have a list of very good beers to choose... More

Out of several beers. Two white wines to choose from out of Chardonnay. Food was just OK. Would NOT recommend.

Jack Russell is a fun brewery with some good alcoholic ciders in the Apple Hill area. If the weather is nice there is a good lawn area to enjoy your drink and the outdoors. On our visit the brewery seemed to happily accept families on property despite the focus on alcoholic beverages.

We came just as a couple and we not impressed by the strong signage -- labeling adults only in areas and dogs only on leach. It reminded me of homes that have that warning sign -- Beware of Dogs We have visited other breweries and did not like this one. The website lists food but we only saw chips. The... More

We stopped to get water locally but came across this lovely brewery. We bought some IPA for my husband (because we have a Jack Russell dog 😂). The service was so personal and lovely and the beer was fab too!!

From a brewery in Camino to a restaurant on Main Street they have a hit. Patio dining, excellent beer, and pub food.

Visited this brewery when things were pretty quiet. I liked walking into the tasting / pouring area and checking out what was on tap. We got our beers and headed to the patios to enjoy! I had a pilsner and it was solid. I understand things can get busy - but when we visited mid May it was comfortable. If... More

We were in Sacramento for business for two weeks and headed up to the Camino area based on a suggestion. We had a great time and swung by the Jack Russel Brewery on one of the nicer days in February. Had a great time sitting on the patio and trying some beers from the brewery. Really enjoyed the seating, although,... More

The sun was out. The temperatures in the 50s on this fine midafternoon jaunt out of Sacramento and into Apple Country near Placerville. Found this place as we meandered through Apple Hill's many many orchards, shops, wineries, and eating stops. I tried the a flight of their darkest beers: porters, stouts, and triple ales over a basket of garlic fries.... More
