Saw this on Huel Howser and it looked like it would be fun to see. It is privately owned and it is run down and in disrepair.

This is a realy interesting story and tour of an eccentric man and how he single handed constructed an abode out of trash and scavenged items. A real artifact in the Cambria area not to be missed especially if you contrast it with the Hearst...More

My wife and I stopped on a trip down the coast in 1971. We were lucky and Art invited up for a tour. It is one of my top memories. I remember "Rabbit Run; " a section of his garden.

The Captains house is one of our favorite places to see every time we are in Cambria. Our best time ever was meeting the Captain in the 70s, he had plenty of interesting stories to keep us entertained.
