We have been visiting Vincent Arroyo winery for 27 years. Each time, we are made to feel like family. It is a small winery at the northern end of the valley, just north of Calistoga. Because of its size, you will get very personalized treatment....More

I really enjoyed the attention and information you got at this winery, unfortunately the wine was not my favorite.

I didn't associate wine tastings with fun until we visited here. First, the greeting from Rosie the playful black lab and then the tasting, led by our host David. He was clearly knowledgeable and very passionate about their wines but not at all precious if...More

Ted gives a great tour. Ignore the minimalism in the tasting room. That is part of the owner's mantra of putting all effort into the bottle. Ted was funny and informative on the tour. And the price for four of us ... free. The outside...More

The wines are mid priced and mid quality. Good value. Quaint setting in nice of the path location. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Stay in the reds and at the $40 price point for best results.

None needed, but I'd recommend making them because they get very busy sometimes. VA is one of my favorite wineries in the valley.
