A tangible representation of the power of volcanic explosions and its ash, as well as the power of time. There is an uphill climb, not too steep though. Very manageable with the right footwear. Worth checking out!

It’s a nice walk in the woods. That’s about as good as it gets. You will see a few Petrified trees lying on the ground. In no way is it a forest. Do not expect to be awed.

The park is not that big. The trails are well marked and no strenuous climbing is required.
