Put on the map for all by Pee Wee's Big Adventure, this is a cute little stop to stretch your legs and visit some kitsch. For $10 dollars you can see the animatronic dinos and climb up into the mouth of the T-Rex standing out front with Dinny the Apatosaurus. Combine with a casino or outlet mall adventure.

Always a fun stop, watch the kids is worth it! It looks like they added some new items to the collection of dinosaurs !

Yes, it's for kids and it's fun for adults too... I think it's totally worth the $10 to get out of the car and stretch around dinosaurs! Great photos and nothing but fun.

Go ahead, channel your inner Pee Wee Herman, or Fred Flintstone – it’s just so cool to be out among these full-size sculptured beastie replicas. Wind in your hair (it’s always blowing out here) as you imagine running away from the enormous, marauding lizards is always fun. There are several big boys: a looming Tyrannosaurus Rex (Mr. Rex), and a... More

The "tour" is very basic and weird. Dinos are in all sizes - not necessarily to scale. It is a kitchy thing. Of course, we like weird and so we stopped, wandered through, found a rock, climbed into the T-Rex. Kids seemed to be having a good time. A real issue for me is that this place is owned by... More

As for road stop stops - for kids - where else you gonna go? It's quick, easy and actually somewhat amazing. Does require some stairs so be aware of that but it's breaks up your ride between LA and Palm Springs and it's fun, educational and whens the last time you've been inside a dino? Recommended fun for all

Mommy and Grandma were checking out the Outlet mall, so Grampa decided to take the three year old and one year old to the Cabazon Dinosaurs to put in some time while we were shopping. The kids and Grampa were very exited and the kids talked about the huge extinct animals all the way back to Palm Desert.

We pulled in here while passing through the area. We took a couple of photos of ourselves with the large dinosaurs. Unfortunately we were there too early to experience the entire attraction. But still it was an interesting place to stop and stretch your legs and it's definitely a unique roadside attraction.

Nostalgia pushed me to stop and see the dinosaurs. They are still there! Probably would have been a better stop had we brought our kids.

Bottom Line: Roadside Americana at its best, budget 30 minutes to stop for pictures and buy a little something inside Dinny the Apatosaurus at a minimum. Quick Tips: -You can visit Dinny the Apatosaurus free of charge. Getting inside Mr Rex will cost you an admission fee. -Burger King and a Shell gas station are adjacent to the museum. The... More
