We first took a tour of the facilities before we sat down to have a tasting of three types of olive oil. It was most interesting and our "guide" was very knowledgeable and shared much information with us. Of course I had to buy some!
We enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Pruneti Olive Oil facility and learned so much! We were then treated to a wonderful lunch, complete with "flights" of olive oil and explanations of all of the variations.
We went in San Polo in Chianti because our landlord warmly recomend it.

We really knew nothing about the process of growing, harvesting and preparing olive oil and this was a great place to learn all about it. Very knowledgeable family run business. No pressure to buy if you don't want to. Wonderful tastings!
