Old fashioned hot springs

Very pleasant, easy to find. Go back to 1940 and enjoy the hot swimming pool! clear water, possibility to rent towels and have a snack.

We went to Keough's on New Years day. Outside temperature 40 degrees. I though it was pretty crazy going to an outdoor pool in the winter. Pool water was probably 85 to 90 degrees, very comfortable. Hot tub very nice and warm. Best part about the pool is that it is natural spring water. Constantly circulates and pool is completely... More

Nothing like a good soak in the hot pool. Jump into the big pool for a cool down but the hot pool is the place to be. I think it's kind of pricey and nothing has been updated in all the years I've been going although the prices have been going up every year.

Others have commented on this place being a bit run down, but this is perhaps part of its charm. It is after all, nearly 100 years old, and to be honest, I do not think much has changed since it opened (other than price of admittance!) We came here on a weekday and there were never more than 10 people... More

It was ok, just need a little TLC. The pools were good and the view of the mountain. Kind of expensive $12.00 per person just to use the pools. Doesn't provide towels.

Spent a late afternoon and evening with friends recently. The hot spring is relaxing and the pool is a good way to stay cool on a hot summer day. The amenities are rustic (sort of run down) but that's part of the charm. There's a snack bar. If you're making a day of it I recommend bringing a cooler of... More

It was over 100 degrees when we were camping in the Eastern Sierra and Keough’s (pronounced key-ohs) Hot Spring was a great place to refresh. The hot springs pool is surprisingly nice on a warm day. The swimming pool is the perfect temperature and the huge fountain spray over the pool is really fun. The décor and colors are so... More

Worst place ever! I have been to better places than this one. When you first arrive the place you can not see from the highway. When you enter there is no one greeting you. I had to found a staff to help me out because you have no idea where to pay. There is no lockers to lock up their... More

We'd just driven straight over from Death Valley and were both shattered. The weather was unexpectedly caving in, making it very difficult (and unpleasant) to set up our tent. The site host helped us move into a tent cabin instead, sorted the cost difference (steep but our budget could handle it) with minimal fuss and could not have been friendlier.... More
