Ballycross Apple Farm is a great place to spend a couple of hours. There is something for all ages. Beautiful walks , playground and animals for children and the young at heart. The coffee shop is excellent, apple pie and cream, delicious. Well worth a visit. We go there at three times a year.

Ballycross is perfectly set up for the enjoyment of toddlers and children. There is so much to see and do, also scheduled activities to help plan your visit (so it's very parent friendly too!) The first thing our toddler saw was the tractors in the courtyard. Immediately he, and ten other kids ran around shouting and laughing. After that he... More

We had a fantastic afternoon at Ballycross, our children are aged from 6 to 2 and they loved the time we spent there. From the free pony rides to the go karts they were kept amused. The highlight of our visit was the tractor trailer ride with the farmer where we got to pick our own bag of apples. My... More

Happy Halloween. This farm was recommended to me as a place to visit and sample their apples ans a giid olace to bring the children. Initially I was impressed with such a low entry fee €10 for 3 but literally within half an hour I had spent nearly €40. The tractor ride to pumpkin field was €1.50 per person which... More

This is the place to bring kids for a special Halloween treat. Bring the wellies and warm clothing though as there is so much outdoorsy stuff to do here, I can guarantee that you will not have to sing the kids to sleep that night. Lovely coffee shop and gift shop with outdoor covered area so you can keep an... More

Enjoy this place. Have been lots of times. The children love the animals. Could easily spend the afternoon here. The apple juice is lovely. Coffee shop is very good. Beautiful gift shop I always come here over Halloween they have lots of pumpkins on sale for reasonable prices. Worth a visit if down this neck of the woods.

Great place. All the other reviews will give you info on what the farm is like. The high lights were the go-karts and should have been the cart ride. We jumped on board and waited for the chat. A description of the farm....a story about the original house that was burned down.....or some info about the variety of the apples.....or... More

We love this place, and as always, it has been the perfect place today to spend a sunny late Spring afternoon. We go for the walks through the stunning farm (start on the red trail, then switch to the green one), the animals that you can help to feed, the waffles and crepes in the cafe and, of course, the... Some of the best apple juice I have ever tasted is very is grown and made here and has been for decades. A brilliant place to come to with kids as well, since there is a small animal farm.

We visited to get our pumpkins and it has hugely improved since we were there last. The shop sells lots of different varieties of pumpkins, we ended up getting yellow and green oblong ones - for minion pumpkins :). We took a tractor ride to the pumkin patch to choose our pumkins - fantastic photo opportunities here. We saw all... More
