Beautiful views from San Bernardino to Bear Lake. Nice small lake with snow around it in December. I did full circle around the lake and on the way back took route 138 by Silverwood Lake another nice, scenic drive.

So sad to see the water level so low. Many homes are not really lakefront anymore. Docks leading to dry earth. Hope it snows or rains soon

This is a great city for family vacations. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the lake, although the drought has made it very low. Some places there is no water. The people are friendly and they have many good restaurants.

There’s no cost associated with going to the lake. Certain activities would have costs depending on what you wanted to do.

Temperatures are high 70’s during day , 40’s at night. September could be getting into some monsoon rains. But historically maybe only one day out of the month. Still fun all year.
