Very interesting with commanding views of campus, hills, bay, and San Francisco. The bells and "keyboard" are cool also. If you time it right you can be there when they play. Very small elevator, and some interesting old photos

We went up as part of parent's weekend. The woman who ran the elevator was just a kick. The views are amazing. I would completely recommend it.

Visiting the Sather Tower when you're on the UC Berkeley is a great thing to do. It has great views and bell concerts

Great place to look out towards the Bay. Learn the history of the UC Berkeley campus and the tower. Highly advise to stop.

A must do for a visit to Berkeley. See the Golden Gate Bridge on the horizon. Enjoy the music. Elevator ride to top.

Yes they check all bigger bags (larger than a purse). The volunteer r student worker will check it, some friends checked all their their bag to England.

There are parking areas that are around the campus. Some of the meters on the street allow up to 8 hours parking for a reasonable charge. One would need to walk to the tower. It would take about 20 minutes to half hour... More
