I saw this roadside stop on Pinterest when I was looking for things to see on my drive from LA to Las Vegas. I am so glad I stopped! I went inside the gift shop and was immediately greeted and was in there at least...More

The thermometer makes for a fun, quick stop to take a few pictures. The thermometer is very tall and works! There is a gift shop but it isn't great. The gift shop should consider stocking more items around a hot theme. Hot candies, hot pads,...More

What a great idea. You've gotta love people who have a vision and make it happen. This is a perfect example of what the USA is all about. This Thermometer isn't something serious, you just have to enjoy seeing it. I'm glad we drove off...More

What a cool sightseeing stop. And the history of the place is amazing. I'd highly recommend making a pit stop on your way to Baker and the bathrooms are super clean!

Hello I'm so sorry you were not impressed with the World's Tallest Thermometer! I assure you it is working properly. If you compare it to other thermometer readings in town they almost alway match, cars are not always accurate. We have taken great pride in...More

on our way to Anaheim we drove through Baker, not knowing there was an actual large thermometer there.. I mean the tallest, and actually quite neat to see. Worth a stop if you have time.

They have a gift shop but we didn't stop in. It is a actual thermometer and you can see it from I-15. We had left LasVegas and driving to LA. You can see it pretty well from the interstate but it looks like it's in...More

Well, it's a thermometer. A tall one. It's not a sight you will drive for but when it's on your route, it's worth checking out. A 5 minutes stop is enough to check the temperature and take a picture with it. The Mad Greek and...More
