We drove from Bentonville after visiting Crystal Bridges Art museum; allow about 30 minutes from West Fork due to winding roads. Great on a clear day, when not too hot so you can hike the trails and picnic. We hiked Devils Den Trail, 1.5 miles...More

Devil's den state park is a great place to hike and make family memories. We took our three kids and they loved it. There were many caves, but due to some kind of bat disease they've been closed for years. At Devil's Den there were...More

We went on a perfect day for hiking. The mile trail had some very interesting rock formations and cave entrances. Unfortunately, because of a bat fungus visitors are not allowed in the caves. Waterfall on path was running and you can literally go under it. This...More

It rained the whole time we were there for our honeymoon, but it was still amazing. We put our ponchos on and went all over the park. The cabin was very romantic. 💘

Lovely waterfall you can see from the comfort of your car under the rain. Took a look at the cabins that were done in the 1930's and we could have stay in one. Unfortunately it was raining so it was a short visit.

We went to the Park for the sole purpose of seeing the waterfalls and the limestone formations. It is a relatively easy hike and the waterfalls were worth the trip. You can actually go behind one of the falls and the bridge in front of...More

We had a great time hiking. The campground was full. They have cabins as well as tent camping grounds. There is a great place to relax next to the river. We hiked the main trail. I recommend that for experienced hikers as there are unstable...More

Went hiking on Yellow Rock Trail couple weeks back. Since I'm not in shape, it was a little exhausting but so much fun and beautiful. The hike is so worth it when you reach the top! Oh and we saw lizards and a snake!

We were on our motorcycle trip and were looking for a place to stay after a long day of riding. We landed here and were worried at first because the ranger said they were all full. We waited for a few mins and something changed....More

Spent two nights hiking the Butterfield trail from the park. The park is simple but nice. Good clean restrooms with showers. Very nice RV parking with power and waste. Simple check-in/out. Almost zero cell signal - which is both good and bad! It's a simple...More

Are the caves ever going to be open again? Devils den is the only place in Arkansas that you can self guide for free to see real caves. Will it ever be that way again?

This is a national crisis of unlimited proportion. Unless there is a miraculous recovery or cure, I highly doubt caves in the affected areas will open again. It's highly contagious. I recommend you go to Wiki and research... More

I'm not sure about the flooding but it is free unless you are camping. We hiked Easter weekend after there had been some rain but no flooding. The rocks were slippery so caution was needed. Dog-friendly as long as you pick... More

We looked at the cabins. They are box-type with toilet amenity. Not very big. The showers are communal. If you are leery and live nearby or are going for a day trip, definitely check them out to determine if they are up your... More
