Lovely walk along the sea front, seeing the locals fishing with these amazing Chinese fishing nets, a fascinating fish market, some nice market stalls.

Unclean and badly maintained. The shopping is a scam. The veiw is marred by the docks and shipyard across the bay.

Worth a visit to watch the Chinese fishing nets being operated. A walk along the prom yields a wealth of stalls selling everything from sunglasses to wooden carvings.

The image of the fishermen hauling their catch is famous. It is worth seeing but timing is critical if you want to capture the nets in action.

Cherai beach never gets old! You can walk through its shores, see children running with kites or play football, make sandcastles or get their feet wet in the waves.. nostalgic and soothing experience

Went there for a day trip with friends. It was a good one day trip from kochi. Beach is good. We were lucky to see dolphins too. However not worth if you are coming from a far away place.

Cherai is arguably one of the best beaches in kerala, and a tourist hub. You can find paddy fields and toddy shops within a mile radius. Decent crowd and a greyish texture for sand. Good place to hang out!
