Not only did we enjoy a nice trek and a fast gallop on the beach, our guide topped off the experience by leading our horses into the ocean and had them SWIM through deep water, and we were allowed to stand up on the backs of the swimming horses and do yoga poses! It was amazing and totally above and... More

Four of us went to Rhodes Hall PLantation as an off resort adventure. We signed some wavers and got saddled up with the help of Roger. we had a nice relaxing, guided ride through the 550 acre former plantation. Roger is an experienced horseman who helped when we needed it and was a knowledgeable tour guide. The ride ended by... More

We went for the horseback riding and was not impressed. The whole trip was underwhelming. They did not even offer swimming with the horse in the ocean at the end, which is what I had expected. When I asked, the guider said indifferently that you could do it if you didn't mind the dirty water. So we did not do... More

We rode horses at Rhodes Hall, which was really fun. They took us through part of the plantation and along the ocean. It was a beautiful place. By far the coolest part was that we changed into our bathing suits at the end and then rode the horses in the ocean.

The hotel itself was well represented as an ECO tourism destination. Rooms were basic yet clean and a touch of comfort. The property is kept just enough to keep nature looking as it should. Sunsets were amazing, staff friendly and so courteous. Now for the downside. The hotel operates a restaurant also however by different ownership. The best thing good... More

Tour with horses through out the plantation 1 hour then 20 mins of swimming was amazing. Our guides were great. Very detailed on information and we had a great time. Wear lots of mosquito / bug repellent. You will need it. There's all kinds of insects. As long as you are protected you will be fine.

Wow! That really is the only word that can accurately sum up Rhodes Hall. It's the most amazing, beautiful, peaceful place in Jamaica. I can't think why anyone would stay on Seven Mile Beach when they have Rhodes Hall just down the road where you don't get hassled on the beach. As well as being beautiful and unspoiled, there is a... We booked the horse ride from Rhodes Hall, a great opportunity to swim with horses, whilst we ride horses in the UK, the water is a little chilly!!! A small group, seven in total, set out for a ride around the plantation with a couple of guides who pointed out the sites this was worth the money, then back to... More

I have taken several trail rides before but to have the horse actually swim with me on it's back in the waters of Jamaica was truly unforgettable for myself and my wife. Thank you Judge and the guides for the humbling experience.

My husband and I went horseback riding at Rhodes hall this morning....WOW! Upon arrival we quickly realised that this place was far from your average, over commercialised, tourist attraction but instead this was full of authentic, Jamaican charm! After being fitted with safety equipment and a briefing, we were taken to meet the horses and we could see straight away... More
